Fire Risk Assessments
The Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) process is the foundation to ensuring that your business is safe from fire. The significant findings will identify those areas that may require further fire safety provisions.
All Employers/Responsible Persons must undertake a Fire Risk Assessment:

Within the scope of the Fire Safety Order 2005 you are required to ensure that your employees are suitably trained in the actions that are to be taken in the event of a fire. We are able to provide bespoke courses relevant to the risks and requirements of your organisation.
This training can be delivered in house at a time to suit you, incurring no further costs on travel and time away from the business.

Key Experience
Risk management, legislative fire safety, contingency planning, risk and compliance consulting.
Tony has worked within Local Authority Fire & Rescue Services for over 30 years, 25 of which have been as a Fire Safety Officer including Fire Risk Policy, Compliance, Enforcement, and Legal Action.
Additionally, Tony has provided Fire Consultancy and advice in supporting Responsible/Accountable Persons in setting direction on fire safety standards as well as, co-ordinate fire safety advice on the interpretation and implementation of Fire Safety Regulations and other legislation within the public and private sectors..
His industry knowledge enables him to assist our clients to provide cost effective solutions imposed by legislative codes & guidance.
Tony has successfully managed complex projects across a range of areas in the fire safety sector, providing technical expertise to assist clients in implementing the most appropriate, cost-effective methodologies to meet their legal responsibilities including:

Preparing fire safety reports and undertake Fire Risk Assessments in accordance with agreed contract schedules

Experience in emergency fire management plans and complex fire risk assessments

Developing solutions for interim measures in support of meeting fire safety functional requirements

Work with Function Heads to ensure that fire safety is managed in line with the organisation’s policy

Experience in residential properties completing complex fire risk assessments

Strong people skills and excellent report writing abilities to deliver client reports with a pragmatic approach

Design and delivery of bespoke fire related training packages

Comprehensive understanding of current UK Fire Regulations
Along with an impressive portfolio of sector-specific qualifications, Tony holds both a BEng (Hons) and an MSc in Fire Safety Engineering from the University of Central Lancashire and is a graduate member of the IFE.
